The Zevvle API is live

Hello.

We’ve been looking forward to this for some time – our public API is live(!). This means you can access all your call record data!

You can start at developers.zevvle.com, and read the documentation at docs.zevvle.com. You’ll need a Zevvle account to get started.

Why do this?

Firstly, it’s your data. We don’t want to restrict how you use it to the Zevvle Proprietary Way™ , so what you do is up to you.

Secondly, we’ve seen customers of other networks request this for the last 10 years. As far as we know we’re the first to do this, which is slightly baffling (do correct us).

Finally, although we’re trying to do things differently here at Zevvle, we don’t have all the ideas for what’s possible and we can’t wait to see what you create.

What’s next?

Consider this version 1, and we hope there’ll be lots more to come.

For a start, the API is currently read-only, i.e. you can’t modify a SIM card. This is going to change, and we’ll also add ‘webhooks’ so you can get notified of any events, e.g. a SIM is modified, a call record is created, etc.

And when we start routing calls ourselves, expanding to other planets, etc. there’ll be even more use-cases as well.

Happy hacking. 😎
